The research department strives to create a strong sense of community, provide a variety of engaging and enriching opportunities for staff/students and to prepare the students for research carriers.

Promoting collaborative research through special interest groups, state of the Madras University, Anna University, IIT and CICRI research labs.

The R&D cell was established to promote and monitor the development of research activities of the college.
The R & D cell motivates the students in research activities, by providing the required training and suggestion.
The R & D cell aims to nurture the research culture in the institute by promoting research in newly emerging and challenging areas of engineering and technology.
It encourages the students and faculty to undertake research in newly emerging and challenging areas of engineering and technology, including multidisciplinary fields.

To organize research-based programs to build an effective relationship among students, faculty and industry.
