About the Committee

College Hostel means a hostel which is under the direct control and management of a College maintained by or affiliated to the University and which generally admits only students of that College.

A college hostel is a type of residence hall that is typically owned and operated by a college or university, and is provided for students who are enrolled at that institution.

an inexpensive lodging facility for usually young travelers that typically has dormitory-style sleeping arrangements and sometimes offers meals and planned activities. called also youth hostel.

A hostel is a place where students of a school or college can experience economic, healthy, and safe accommodation. Many students around the world live in hostels. Generally, hostels are meant for students who migrate from a long distance for their education.

Hostel life is entirely different and quite challenging life than life at home. They not only learn to develop self-reliance, teamwork, and responsibility in a hostel but also learn social harmony and cooperation with roommates. Students do their own work at a certain time without anyone’s help.

it’s possible to live in a hostel. However, it gets pretty exhausting. I found myself wanting a private room every week or so just for some alone time and to catch up on sleep. Also, most hostels place limits on how long you can stay.

Hostel life can sometimes get hectic as one will be managing study or work along with personal chores. All these activities and daily tasks will eventually make student  the master of time management over the period. This is one of the most important experiences that every hosteller probably experiences.
