About the Committee

The Art & Culture Committee was established in the college to organize activities that showcase diversity in culture, religion, tradition and life style. The committee also organizes cultural programmes during important events held in the college. It also facilitates and encourages students to participate in inter-college cultural events.

Functions of the Committee

To celebrate Indian culture through festivals, observing National and International Days and showcasing artistic diversity.
To create excellence in art production, performances, rare art forms, contributes to the preservation and evolution of our cultural heritage.
To explore the rich cultural heritage of our nation and to give exposure to various art forms.
The Art & Culture Committee is responsible for the Intra and Inter Colligate Cultural events in the College.
To inculcate Qualities like team spirit and bonding among students and faculty members.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Art & Culture Committee is responsible for the Intra and Inter Colligate Cultural events in the College.
To plan and fix tentative dates using academic calendar of the institute and schedule cultural events for the academic year.
Art & Culture Committee coordinator shall conduct the meeting with committee members and discuss about the cultural events to be organized.
Annual budget should be prepared for various cultural events
Permission should be obtained from College authorities.
Date, time and agenda of the program should be decided.
To arrange the venue, audio and video systems.
To invite the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
To arrange mementos for Chief Guests Gifts/Certificates for the participants for Guests.
Display the information about festivals to be celebrated on the notice board.
