Committee Head

Our college has formally constituted a Women Empowerment Cell with a committed focus on fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for women.

The cell plays a pivotal role in ensuring the welfare of female faculty members and students by providing access to essential facilities, addressing workplace concerns, and promoting gender equity. It also strives to cultivate dignity, self-confidence, and leadership among women, thereby enhancing their overall academic and professional experience.

The reconstituted committee for the academic year 2025–26 has been updated and is effective from 21.01.2026.

Functions of the Committee

To promote Gender Sensitivity by conducting awareness programs and integrating gender studies into the curriculum to foster a culture of equality
To support and counseling by providing emotional, psychological, and career counseling services to female students and staff, including establishing help lines
To implement safety measures on campus and enforce anti-harassment policies through internal complaints committee
To organize workshops and seminars focused on skill development, leadership, and career advancement for women
To promote women’s health through awareness programs, health camps, and wellness initiatives
To develop and enforce gender equity policies, and regularly monitor and assess their effectiveness
To engage with local communities and collaborate with external organizations to support and advocate for women’s empowerment

To empower, apprise and uplift the women and make provisions for competing the world with all her potentials.

Creating awareness among the female students about their social, legal and constitutional rights to survive in the secured environment.
Providing platform to express their views ideas through various activities like folk playing, singing, poem writing, Debate etc.,
Endowing the scope of expressing their ideas, problem solving techniques, perspective knowledge, adorable thinking without any barrier.
Motivating to move forward in every footsteps of life for better reincarnation.
Stimulating the positive thinking to acquire the enlightened track in their journey.
Emphasize ethical value, positive self-esteem and confidence in the young women to make them stronger in decision making.

Roles & Responsibilities

To organize Programs and Activities for Women Empowerment.
To encourage Girl Students and Female Staff Members to participate enthusiastically in various Programs and Competitions.
To develop the Self-Confidence of women in building their Self-Identity.
To review safety and security measures for Female Employees and Girl Students at Campus.
To promote a Culture of respect, equality and freedom for Female Gender.
To instill the Entrepreneurial Attitude among the Girl Students.
To provide psychological support for the Students lagging in Academic Performance.
To counsel the Girls Students to overcome their Anxiety, Depression, Health issues and Psychological problems.
To enhance their understanding of issues related to women in the Society and to face the challenges with great courage.
To inculcate the women regarding hygiene by addressing the awareness among them

Active Participation of Women empowerment Cell in various segments:

It ties up with the internal complaints committee to create awareness among ladies, girls in their working environment about the harassment free zone in the campus premises
It supports the discipline committee to insist the girls and women to follow the discipline code in the living environment.
It motivates the girls and women to participate in sports, culturals and Yoga with the full cooperation and participation throughout the entire course.
It shares ideas to the Students council Committee regarding awareness programs.

To organize events and activities for women empowerment and to create an environment to realize their full potential.
To conduct awareness programs with a motive to train girls about self-defence, health benefits and skill development.
To up-skill the women about her status in the society through education, raising awareness, literacy and training.
To make her a strong decisive making personage
To work for the exhilaration of women
To develop the self-confidence of Women and appreciate their role in the society.
To emphasize the various constitutional laws, amendments and the benefits given by various NGOs and the Government
To give counseling for women to come out of their inferior feelings
