To develop academic programs and construct better environments for our
students with
proficiency in management, our institution plans the curriculum along with
diverse ways to
reach its aims, which reflect goals from an institutional
perspective.
The college has come up with two new programmes for UG: AIDS and AIML, with
an
intake of 60 seats. The main purpose of introducing this programme is to
align with emerging
industries or in-demand skills, which helps ensure that students are
equipped with the
knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the job market. As we know the
importance of ERP
software for college use, we have purchased the ERP software for our
college, and all the first
year’s details have been updated and followed by other departments in
process.
We have received three certifications from ISO for Quality Management
System,
Energy Management System, and Environmental Management System for our
college to
impact educational programs leading to UG and PG degrees. The preparation
for NAAC
accreditation has been started and is successfully in progress. Faculties
and students are
encouraged to attend more seminars, workshops, and NPTEL courses. The
principal motivates
faculties to publish more research papers at national and international
conferences and also
increase papers in journal publications.
The college encourages the students for different industrial visits for
research, extension
activities and also to extract finance from industries under corporate
social responsibilities. The
placement coordinator also focuses on increasing placement activities and
aims to place all
students in different streams with high salary package. To maintain a
healthy relationship with
industry the principal has informed faculties to increase MOUs for all
departments.
Further, the remaining strategic plans like Anna University recognized
research centers,
NBA accreditation, Additional divisions and NIRF ranking are in
consideration, and the college
will take measures to succeed them.
