Functions of the Committee
  • To celebrate Indian culture through festivals, observing National and International Days and showcasing artistic diversity.
  • To create excellence in art production, performances, rare art forms, contributes to the preservation and evolution of our cultural heritage.
  • To explore the rich cultural heritage of our nation and to give exposure to various art forms.
  • To inculcate qualities like team spirit and bonding among students and faculty members.
About the Committee

The Art & Cultural Committee was established in the College to organize activities that showcase diversity in culture, religion, tradition and life style. The committee also organizes cultural programmes during important events held in the College. It also facilitates and encourages students to participate in Inter- and Intra-collegiate cultural events.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Art & Cultural Committee is responsible for the Inter- and Intra-collegiate cultural events in the College.
  • To plan and fix tentative dates using academic calendar of the Institute and schedule cultural events for the academic year.
  • To conduct the meeting with committee members and discuss about the cultural events to be organized.
  • To develop a budget for cultural events, secure permission from college authorities, confirm the date, time, and organize the venue along with audio and video systems.
  • To invite the Chief Guest and other dignitaries and arranging mementos for the Chief Guests and gifts or certificates for the participants.
  • To nurture moral values in students by organizing enriching cultural events that promote understanding and respect for diverse traditions.

  • To serve as a platform to connect institute, alumni, and students to have a better interaction with each other for academic excellence.

  • The mission of the Alumni Association is to open channels of communication between the university and the alumni and provide them with the optimum career guidance and counseling.
  • To promote a lifelong relationship and create a platform for the exchange of information.
  • To involve alumni in mentoring and up-skilling MCE students.
