Project Description
Our Department of Information Technology has enormous facilities and well qualified faculty members which produces young aspiring Engineers since its inception in 2004 has consistently brought laurels to our college. It offers undergraduate (B.Tech Information Technology) under Anna University, Chennai. It entrenched by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) and located in the heart of Chennai. It also facilitates with well-equipped spacious laboratories with high end computing systems suitable for Research and Development activities. The prominent and leading employers have made the placement record of the department excellent. We have well qualified and dedicated faculties who are consistently producing Anna University Ranks and Medals. We got awarded by Education Matters for producing highest number of University Ranks. Our faculty members besides teaching are involved in many activities like continuing education, technical consultancy, research & development, coordinating professional bodies which directly helps our students to enhance their technical knowledge. Our Department has signed MoU with various Industries for technical collaboration. Our students had won many technical awards from various events conducted in various colleges and universities. We not only promote education also support and guide students extra circular activities and encourage their individuality of each students. Every year our students conduct “Flaminius” a Techie event which enrich the organizing skills of students as leaders of Tomorrow. In addition, we conduct workshops, seminar guest lectures and interactive session to create awareness about the industry outside. We always ensure that the environment is students friendly. We helps our students to get Government Scholarship for SC/ST ,MBC, First graduate for their entire program.
