Project Description
Meenakshi College of Engineering affiliated to Anna University & AICTE was established in the year 2001-2002 by the Meenakshi Ammal Trust, Chennai, which is a public charitable educational trust formed for reaching quality education to more and more deserving and aspiring students. The trust members are drawn from various walks of life and are eminent personalities with proven success in education, research and teaching apart from social service.
- To enhance the knowledge of the students in multidisciplinary areas with good scientific and engineering breadth to comprehend, analyze and design products
- To prepare the students understand problems relevant to the society and provide appropriate solutions
- To make the students acquire sound scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary for higher studies and research
- To promote student awareness for continuous learning and importance of professional ethics and codes of professional practice
To create a conductive environment for quality education that prepares the students to take up the challenges in the industry, research & development and to pursue higher studies.

Apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering Fundamentals and an Engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
